We currently seek an experienced project manager to manage the planning, design, assessment, and implementation of wind energy projects on behalf of AWS Truewind’s clients. The person will direct and coordinate, and from time to time carry out, a variety of tasks in support of AWS Truewind’s project development services, including analyzing meteorological data, conducting modeling studies, estimating wind project output, selecting appropriate turbine models, designing turbine layouts, assessing wind project performance, evaluating project feasibility, and conducting field surveys. The person will work with clients on a day-to-day basis, and will be responsible for providing innovative and effective solutions to solve our client’s needs.

The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to work effectively with clients and staff, meet deadlines and budgets, perform critical analyses of sensitive data, assess model results, and communicate effectively. Experience in the wind industry or in power generation is strongly preferred, but qualified candidates from other fields requiring similar skills will be considered.

This position reports to the Director of Project Services.

Education

Minimum of a Bachelors in engineering, management or a technical field required.

Experience

Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience and  Power Industry experience preferred.

Location

This position will be located in Austin, TX. Some travel will be required.
