AWS Truewind, LLC announces the launch of a joint venture with Meteosim, S.L., to expand the global reach of the company’s wind energy products and services. The new firm, called Meteosim Truewind, S.L., will be based in Barcelona, Spain, and led by Joan Aymamí Nuestraseñora del Manto, who is also president of Meteosim. Meteosim Truewind aims to greatly expand AWS Truewind’s presence in Europe and make its products and services more widely available in other markets, such as Latin America.

“Meteosim is the ideal partner for AWS Truewind’s new initiative in Europe,” says AWS Truewind’s president, Bruce Bailey. “They bring vital skills in meteorology and atmospheric modeling, and as a successful Spanish firm, they have a keen sense of what the European wind energy market needs.”
