AWS Truewind has supported wind and solar measurement programs at hundreds of sites. We are a pioneering leader in the use of physics-based numerical simulation models to construct climatological statistics of solar radiation and other meteorological parameters and have extensive experience in the quality control and analysis of solar and meteorological measurement data.

AWS Truewind applies atmospheric modeling tools to predict the time and space variability of wind and solar resources, with validation of model output through a variety of surface-based observational networks and remote sensing platforms. AWS Truewind scientists actively participate in the meteorological research community, are aware of the latest advancements in atmospheric data analysis and modeling techniques, and able to use these state-of-the-art techniques and tools to meet client needs for specific projects.

AWS Truewind actively engages in a broad range of Photovoltaic (PV) system projects and studies, and is well positioned to support solar thermal plant evaluations. In part through its active role as a primary technical resource for the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, AWS Truewind has conducted an extensive number of design reviews, assessments and field inspections on PV projects.
