AWS Truewind has mapped over 60 countries and 50 states and regions using its proprietary MesoMap® system. These maps assist clients in assessing wind resources, identifying attractive sites, and greatly accelerate the development process with highly dependable results.

The MesoMap system is the most widely tested and validated wind mapping system in existence today. MesoMap has been verified by comparing map predictions with independent observations for over 1000 stations around the world. This validation program is by far the most extensive ever carried out for a wind mapping system. The National Renewable Energy Laboratory has been closely involved in the validation to ensure its objectivity. For more information about the MesoMap system visit the Services section of this site.

The status for every region in the world is broken into five categories:

Not Mapped - These areas are not currently mapped however AWS Truewind can map any region in the world. For information on your particular area of interest please contact us.

In Progress - These areas are in the process of being mapped for either a public or private entity, or internally. If you would like purchasing information for these areas please contact us.

Public - These areas have been mapped by AWS Truewind through public funding and are available for viewing by clicking on the link or the image.

Private - These areas have been mapped by AWS Truewind and are privately owned to date. For more information on mapping one of these regions, or a new area of interest, please contact us.

AWS Truewind Owned - These areas have been mapped and are currently owned by AWS Truewind. These maps are available at a discounted price. For more information on acquiring these reduced price maps, please contact us.
